The women cell is established to create a better and just society by empowering women. The cell seeks to create awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberations on a range of issues. Such as one’s body sexuality and gender.

They question patriarchy; inequality, crime against women; other issues the affect their daily live. This initiates debates and dialogue and facilitates its process of breaking away from class/cast line ages to position ourselves in a broader social political context. This is achieved by conducting talks, seminars presentations, workshops, festivals and other activities organized by cell. The cell has a professional counselor to deal with student’s problem and offer solution to them.
